Meerbusch-based consultancy firm starkpartners was appointed by the provisional insolvency administrator of Hans Lingl Anlagenbau und Verfahrenstechnik GmbH & Co. KG, Dipl.-Kfm. Arndt Geiwitz from the law firm SGP Schneider Geiwitz, to lead the investor process for the company.
Lingl is one of the internationally leading manufacturers of machines and plants in the fields of coarse pottery, sanitary and technical ceramics, wood processing as well as automation and robotics. The company currently employs about 400 people. Lingl is represented worldwide by more than 30 subsidiaries, sales partners and licensees. In 2019 the turnover of the Swabian company was about 72 million euros. The Lingl subsidiary SMB Maschinenbau GmbH & Co.KG has also filed for bankruptcy and is part of the distressed M&A process along with the other solvent subsidiaries.
