As part of Project CoreCast, starkpartners is exclusively managing a structured investor process for an established German iron foundry with more than 50 employees and a broadly diversified customer base.

Company profile

The target company is an experienced manufacturer of customized iron casting components for technically sophisticated applications. Its long-standing industrial history forms the basis for a distinctive material and process expertise, as well as robust customer relationships in various industrial end markets.

The depth of added value includes application-oriented component development, casting production, and further processing and finishing steps. Customers thus receive ready-to-install components from a single source. The company manufactures individual and series components in a broad range of weights and geometries.

The product portfolio covers an extensive spectrum of ferrous materials, including various gray and nodular cast iron qualities, as well as other alloyed and wear-optimized materials. This variety of materials enables the supply of several stable sales markets, including mechanical engineering, transport technology, and drive systems.

Operational setup

Production takes place at a modern location in Germany with approval for multi-shift operation. Current operation is demand-oriented and flexible according to the order situation.

The technical equipment includes automated molding and core manufacturing processes, which enable the economical production of complex cast parts with high reproducibility. The production is supplemented by an integrated quality assurance system with material-analytical and metrological testing methods to ensure consistently high product quality.

The earnings situation is stable and is significantly supported by a high proportion of series and repeat business as well as a balanced customer structure.
