The Hamburg-based investment company CE Capital Partners will take over the business operations of Friedrich Wilhelms-Hütte Eisenguss GmbH, steel casting division (“FWH”). Friedrich Wilhelms-Hütte GmbH, which is responsible for providing services and administrative tasks, will also be transferred to CE Capital Partners. The formal transfer of the business will take place on September 1, 2021.

The corresponding purchase agreements have been signed, according to a company statement on late Friday afternoon. The formal takeover will take place on September 1st. From this point on, FWH will operate as FWH Stahlguss GmbH, and the management company as CE Mülheim Verwaltungs-GmbH.

Nicolas Neumann, Managing Partner of CE Capital Partners GmbH, is pleased about “the acquisition of one of the leading steel foundries in Europe, which will be positioned globally on the market in the coming years by CE Capital Partners with its excellent products”. Neumann did not rule out further acquisitions by CTI Industrie Holding, which was founded for this purpose, in this context.
