In a significant step towards restructuring the company, insolvency administrator Andreas Budnik from the supra-regional insolvency and restructuring law firm AndresPartner has successfully transferred the business operations with all assets of the traditional company L. Jansen GmbH & Co. KG, including the MarpaJansen brand as well as movable objects, accessories and inventory, to the company to be named MarpaJansen GmbH in the future, based in Mönchengladbach. With this step, the insolvency administrator, lawyer Andreas Budnik, ensures the economic continuity of the business and secures all jobs in the company in Mönchengladbach. The transaction was made possible by the targeted investor search of the consulting company starkpartners ( www.starkpartners.de) from Meerbusch and offers a continuation perspective for the company, which will continue its business operations in full. The economic transfer will take place retroactively to October 1, 2023 and still requires the approval of the creditors’ meeting. The buyer and seller have agreed to maintain confidentiality regarding the purchase price and the economic details.

The buyer has a clear vision and a strong understanding of the industry. The transferring restructuring not only marks a new beginning for the company, but also enables its further development at the location.
“The sale was a strategic decision to secure the existence of the company in Mönchengladbach and at the same time preserve jobs. The cooperation with the buyer and the support of their shareholder were crucial for the transfer, and I am confident that the company has a promising future under the proven management,” says lawyer and restructuring expert Andreas Budnik.

Despite the challenges in the insolvency proceedings, the company was able to maintain its business operations without restrictions. This success is thanks to the dedicated efforts of all key stakeholders, which ensured that the company’s ongoing activities could be continued smoothly and without disruption and that all customers could be supplied satisfactorily.

The employees have already been informed about the current status and the further procedure.
