CARELINE Manufaktur GmbH is taking over the entire business operations of the nationwide furnishing specialist Starke Objekteinrichtungen GmbH (“Starke”) from Schönbach in Saxony on January 1, 2023.

“We are extremely pleased that after a challenging investor process, we have now found an ideal partner for Starke in CARELINE”, says lawyer Olaf Seidel, who manages the company as insolvency administrator. “The new owner offers a great perspective for the location, the state-of-the-art production and the 80 employees in Schönbach, who have shown the greatest commitment to the company in recent months.”

According to its own information, CARELINE will be committed to the further development of Starke Objekteinrichtungen, both promoting the development of existing properties and opening up new fields with a strengthened sales team.

CARELINE Managing Director Dennis Adrian says: “We are very pleased about this bundling of forces. Ultimately, everyone will benefit from this: existing and new customers of our two companies, as well as the employees in Dormagen and Schönbach.” The Starke range of services complements the CARELINE GmbH portfolio and increases capacities through state-of-the-art, semi-automatic production of contract furniture, new designers and interior designers as well as project managers, who ensure even better planning and implementation of their own design and equipment concepts, while the equally strongly growing assembly and service areas guarantee even greater customer satisfaction. According to its own information, new employees are now being sought to expand the business.

Since the insolvency application at the beginning of October 2022, restructuring expert Olaf Seidel and his team have played a key role in managing the operative business of Starke Objekteinrichtungen and ensuring that the furnishing specialist’s operations are stabilised. Without this crucial groundwork, the sale that has now taken place would not have been possible. The investor process was managed by starkpartners consulting GmbH from Meerbusch.

“In addition to the entire workforce of Starke Objekteinrichtungen, we would like to thank all other parties involved in the proceedings, such as customers, suppliers and the employment agency, who have provided us with constructive support at all times in order to achieve a continuation solution for the company”, adds Seidel.

The seller and buyer have agreed not to disclose the purchase price and economic framework conditions. The employees have been informed about the transaction and the further procedure.
