On October 1, the publicly listed Kafrit Industries (1993) Ltd acquired
Karl Finke GmbH & Co. KG
as part of a
Distressed M&A deal
. The restructuring was managed by
Prof. Dr. Dirk Andres
, a renowned lawyer and insolvency administrator, together with lawyer
Axel Richter
, and monitored by the appointed trustee, lawyer Dr. Marc d’Avoine.

The Kafrit Group was founded in 1973 and currently employs more than 800 people in the 10 companies belonging to the group. Kafrit is an established manufacturer of masterbatch and compound technologies for the plastics industry.
