Investor process launched: manufacturer-independent system integrator for measurement, control and regulation technology with its own subsidiary in North America

As part of an exclusively mandated and confidential M&A process, we present to you a family-owned company from Germany that has been established for more than 30 years and operates internationally as a manufacturer-independent system integrator for measurement, control and regulation technology.

The sale of a majority stake is envisaged. The managing shareholder is available to continue running the business operationally beyond the transaction and expressly seeks a re-investment.

The company combines the key competencies of electrical engineering, measurement technology and control and regulation technology under one roof. The service portfolio ranges from consulting and electrical design to software development and low-voltage switchgear manufacturing, through to worldwide commissioning and service.

Around 45 employees, including approximately 20% in software development, several hundred systems implemented worldwide, and a long-standing anchor-customer relationship with a leading international process-industry group form the operational basis. Key value drivers are in-house software expertise with reusable modules, broad platform expertise, and long-standing competence in engineering and the construction of switchgear to North American standards. The company’s own subsidiary in North America further underlines the international scalability of the business model.

For a strategic investor or a private equity firm with existing market and customer access, this opens up a concrete lever: additional projects can be absorbed by an already established organization with well-rehearsed engineering, software and control-cabinet manufacturing capabilities.
